Michelle Bisconti, Lyme Blogger and Warrior

Michelle Bisconti is a Lyme warrior and Lyme blogger. Her blog is called My Life in the Lyme-Light. She started her journey in May 2014 when a tick bit her, but she wasn’t officially diagnosed until 2015. During her first year of diagnosis, Michelle was treated with antibiotics. After that, her body couldn’t take the antibiotics anymore, and she did holistic treatments. She went to 13 different specialists because each doctor specialized in one thing and didn’t analyze the whole body.

Now Michelle says she is currently borderline with Lyme as she can be suitable for 3 to 4 months, and then she gets triggered. Being triggered leads to her not feeling so great. Some of her triggers are stress or overworking out. The treatments that help Michelle are supplementation,  antioxidants, adaptogens, minerals, and IV treatments.

What Lyme blogger Michelle recommends you do from home:

  • Do not feel bad for yourself; pick yourself up, and you’ll find determination.
  • If you can’t find the doctor you want immediately, you can look for another doctor in the meantime.
  • Drink plenty of alkaline water, such as lemon water.
  • Do your Lyme research, so stay knowledgeable.
  • Cut high inflammatory foods out.
  • Check out Medical Medium Protocols.

Overall, Michelle thinks staying positive even when you’re at the worst will help you get through your worst moments with Lyme.
